PItchwood

Conceived beside a campfire, Pitchwood has developed into a dynamic folk rock band. A collaboration between singer/songwriters Ana Bradley and Jeffrey Frank, Pitchwood blends tight harmonies and expressive songwriting to create a rich and original sound.  With mutual passion for nature and the human condition, Frank and Bradley infuse these experiences into their artistry.

Ana Bradley

Ana Bradley began honing her first instrument at the age of 3, her voice. A shoe box full of old cassette tapes lives in her attic of hours of little Ana singing and writing songs. Her most prominent early musical influence (other than a brief obsession with New Kids on the Block) was her mother - a folk musician who played with various groups throughout her childhood. Ana spent her entire high school career perfecting her voice in choirs, voice lessons, and musical theatre. Ana began writing and performing her own music in 2005.  In 2009 she came out with her debut album Growing Into Myself produced by Take 92 Studios. She continues to hone her talents singing and songwriting with Pitchwood.

 jeff frank

A Texas transplant, Jeff Frank began playing music at an early age with piano and french horn before ultimately moving on to guitar and bass. He has played in marching bands, orchestras and jazz bands in addition to past projects with rock bands where he began singing and songwriting. He comes from a family of Bandmasters and has been influenced by a wide range of genres and styles from symphonic works conducted by his father in high school band to a classic rock LP - 'Zilker Sunday' - he found in the attic. Since moving to Oregon he has focused on a folk rock style along with collaborator Ana Bradley.

ezra black

A homespun talent from Eugene and U of O, Ezra brings his drum kit to the Pitchwood stage! (with some guitar and singing skills at the ready) Ezra is a veteran of the local band scene, most recently playing with a classic rock inspired band called Righteous Mess.

Until Pitchwood is able to schedule a Glamour Shots session with Deb, he can be seen here in a photo captured by indoor drone at a recent performance. Eight beers, two people dancing and one musician were injured in the incident.

Kyle Ryce Elton

Growing up an extroverted only child with ADHD in a small town, Kyle was often bored out of his mind. His adolescent years were spent in a fairly artistic community under the Monterey Pines of the Central Coast of California where most of his friends were musicians. He figured he'd try to learn music too, but instead he did the next best thing and picked up the bass guitar. He pretty quickly fell in love with the low dulcet tones and taught himself every Weezer and Nirvana bassline. Along the way, he also learned guitar, ukulele tambourine and kazoo. Kyle often loses all sense of physical space and linear time while playing on stage. His Pitchwood comrades constantly challenge him to be a better musician and he's damn thankful to able to play with them.

Kyle would also like to thank his corporate sponsor Spatula City™.
